About me

Introduction A wife, recently wed in June 2010. I am "head over heels," but that's not the only place my head is- I also keep my head in the clouds, and in the books until I graduate in May. Here's a look inside!
Interests HGTV (Kim Myles, House Hunters, My First Place), interior decorating, looking at other people's DIY projects and fantasizing about my own, writing in my journal, taking bubble baths, going to the movies, eating in the car (lol!), long drives, Kathy Van Zeeland purses (the closest I'll ever come to 'designer'!), creative writing workshops, the colors turoqoise, grey, black, minty green. Fabulous hair. Children's entertainment (Picture books, films, shows, games).
Favorite Movies I love drama/thrillers. My favorite actress as of 2010 is Zoe Saldana. Orphan, The Good Son, Sleeping with the Enemy, Set it Off, The Sixth Sense, Identity, 1408, Memoirs of a Geisha, Traitor, Hotel Rwanda, The Last King of Scotland, Star Trek, Misery, The Box.
Favorite Music I grew up strictly a fan of R&B. Now my tastes have grown to incorporate pop as well as artists good enough to be popular, imo. Janet Jackson, Chaka Khan, Sade, Meg and Dia, Mika, Prince, Maroon 5, Brandy, Teedra Moses, Chrisette Michele, Erykah Badu, India Arie, All American Rejects, N.E.R.D., T-Pain.

Random things about me: The perfect outfit is a pair of killer denim jeans and a nice, fitted white t-shirt with a great neckline. I prefer bite-sized cookies to any other size. I do not have a Myspace or Facebook. I was a contestant in a pageant for the first time ever competing in Miss Black Arizona 2010 Scholarship pageant.
