About Me
I was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA and I am the original Walla Walla wine blogger and “locapour.” What is a locapour, you ask? A locapour is someone who drinks and talks about the wines from a local radius in order to support the local wineries, vineyards and economy. When it came to the vine and wine industry, I wanted to do it all: from digging holes and planting the vines. I worked crush and bottling line and was even a judge for one of the largest wine competitions. I enjoyed working in the tasting room environment, even though I graduated with a Certification in Viticulture. However, after eight years of cleaning spit buckets and pouring for the masses, I hung up my corkscrew to pursue my writing and open my online wine store, Walla Walla Wine Woman.
