About Me

I'm IBRRC's part-time technology geek. The blog was started two days after the Cosco Busan hit the San Francisco Bay Bridge in November 2007. It's aim is to communicate news, views and IBRRC's worldwide oil spill response and training efforts. In 2000 I got the organization's first website off the ground. My specialty is information technology (servers, databases, web, computers and phone systems). I also work with other groups and businesses through my company, tech+help. [ http://www.techplushelp.com ] I've also volunteered and worked on a number of oil spills in California and one big one in Cape Town, South Africa in 2000. My favorite bird is a African "jackass" Penguin.
