Introduction	Hooked on the chaos of the cities, giddied by headspins in the altitudes, addicted to foodstuffs I previously never knew existed, enamoured by olde worlde charm of vendors, mariachis, cowboys, indians, grandmas; warmed by the culture and the colour, exalted at making my first tortilla inflate, completely thrown by amazing obscurities...finding it so very hard to leave this country. Rapture, vertigo, letting go = life in Mexico. Now transitioning from tourist to 'local' in a tiny fishing village with beautiful uncrowded surf. I went from kicking about London in heels and makeup, hair and nails, to living without a mirror for 1 whole year. So I've joined the blogerati to help make sense of what it is I love about Mexico. To sort out the several thousand photos. To tell the tale of a tall blonde Aussie travelling alone, going native. And also save my mums from a cardiac anytime she hears news of earthquakes or narcos on the loose.
