Los Angeles City Commissioner for 10 years, State Commissioner as Member of the Board of Governors of the California State Bar for 9 years, both as a Citizen Volunteer. Knighted by the President of Italy in 1981, as Cavaliere Ufficiale, Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy (OMRI).
