Introduction Although I grew up in Montana, I currently live in the wonderful Pacific Northwest and love it! I was greatly influenced by my great grandparents, and I treasure my Irish heritage. I taught middle school for 11 years. Although I was out of the classroom for a year, I returned to teach high school Language Arts online. I love middle and high school kids and teaching, but I hate the politics involved. I believe that every day is a gift to be savored and cherished... I believe there is still much to learn... I believe in the power of love to heal... I believe in always doing our best to serve others... I believe there is magic all around us - "Some things have to be believed to be seen."... I believe "all things are possible" to those who believe they are... I believe we are called to love one another and be understanding for we can never be sure of another's struggles until we have walked a mile in his/her shoes... I believe peace is possible; apathy is not an option... and most of all, I believe in LOVE!

What spells can you cast with magic markers?

There are as many different spells as there are colors of the rainbow...of course, my dear, my favorite ones come in the form of colorful books of stories and poems, which magically turn those who read them into creatures of happiness and peace... no more rude and cranky people wandering around sharing their unhappiness with everyone they meet. Shouldn't we all have a set of "magic markers?"
