| Introduction | I'm a wife, mother, caregiver, social activist, and animal lover. My favorite quote is "Being kind is more important than being right," by Andy Rooney, and I've tried to make that my creed. Being a follower of Christ, I despise injustice, and I tend to be opinionated and outspoken on many issues, especially when there are those who can't or won't speak up themselves. It isn't my intention to offend anyone, so I rarely voice my personal opinions on the pages of others. This is the place where I'll let it all hang out, so to speak. If you want to rant and rave about my personal opinions, please do it on your own page, thanks. Politically, I'm a registered Republican, but as far as I'm concerned, the party that I joined as a naive young woman so very long ago is all but dead. It doesn't serve women at all and it certainly does nothing to try to help those in need, as I feel Christ would have us do. |
