| Introduction | Little did I know that a chance meeting in an unrelated industry would provide a writing adventure of my dreams. It was on a Sunday in August 2002 that I met a businessman in the entertainment industry. It was decided not long after that meeting that we would indeed become co-authors on a project based out of London ‘Secrets One – The Series’ published by Toon Ice Books. I have always felt writing came naturally, and as a journalist, and photographer, for newspapers in the Northwest Ohio area, it became a career lasting more than 25 years. Writing has been a constant thread throughout my adult life, even when I “thought” I was pursuing other avenues. A perfect example is when I earned an associates degree in Christian education and discovered the joy of developing and writing curriculum. It was an exciting step to relocate from Ohio to Colorado in the late 1990’s. I changed gears a bit to do freelance writing and consulting work, particularly editing and advising for individuals and businesses. Now a published author, I am looking forward to continued success with my co-author on the current project while developing solo projects under the Toon Ice Books umbrella. |
