Introduction Martin A. Ramos is a writer of short stories and poetry from Hormigueros, PR who has been published in small literary magazines and in online journals.He grew up and was educated in Chicago, IL, has a master's in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and currently works as an Aux. Adm. for the Dept. of Ed. in his hometown of Hormigueros, PR. He has published stories in small literary magazines such as Chiricú, and poetry in Dragonfly, Rattle, Latino Stuff Review, Cyclo*Flame, and Writer’s Digest. His work has appeared online in the Feb. 2008 issue of The Cortland Review and in Red River Review. Paz.

Favorite Music I'm partial to the British Invasion songs of the sixties, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Santana, Elton John, Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, Martina McBride, Celine Dion, Lee Ann Rimes. I also like early Neil Diamond. (There are only two types of people in the world. Those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't.)
Favorite Books Anything by Hemingway, Faulkner, John Steinbeck, Flannery O'Connor, James Purdy, Richard Wright. The poetry of Hart Crane, T.S. Eliot, Don L Lee, Sapphire, Anne Sexton, among others.
