About Me

Currently, as Vice President of Online Insights at Sway, I manage Social Media Maps (SMM) and develop proprietary research reports and tools. The SMM is a research-based plan for how to effectively target customers in an online environment. We identify where customers are spending time online, how they behave online, what motivates them, what influences them, and how to effectively reach them. Recent brands/companies that I have done Maps for include: Kmart, American Girl, Allstate Insurance, Insinkerator, International Trucks, Fiskars Gardening Products, and TravelWisconsin.com. I have been a marketing consultant for over 13 years, working with SC Johnson, Johnson Diversey, Kraft, Kimberly Clark, Capital One, Wachovia, and Potawatomi Bingo and Casino. During my career, I have several undergraduate courses at UW-Whitewater on Marketing Research, Marketing Principles, and Product Policy. I hold a BA and MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I am currently on the Advisory Board for the University of Wi-Whitewater's COBE's Marketing Department, and I am a member of the American Marketing Association and the Society for New Communications Research.
