| Introduction | I'm an almost 39 year old wife of nearly 20 years and mom of two grown boys almost 22 and 19. Where does the time go? Yes, if you've done your math, I was a teenage mom. Our oldest was born one month before I turned 17. We did it all backward...we had the baby, lived together and then got married. We wanted to make sure we were getting married for all of the right reasons. To this day I am convinced we did. My goal in writing this blog is to release all of the shame associated with being molested as a child by my grandfather and finally move past my fear of attention. I'm 5'2" and I currently weigh 204.2 pounds. I am a petite woman that is approximately 90 pounds overweight. There. I said it. Out-loud and for everyone to read. Holy Crap! The world didn't explode. Really? Okay. I can do this. Some might be wondering at the name of my blog. Continue to read and I'll explain it to you. Okay, totally cheesy I agree. | Favorite Music | I have so many that I love I don't think I can list them all! Anything by Bing Crosby, The Rat Pack, Taylor Swift, P!NK, Classical, Pop, lots of stuff from the late 50's/60's, AC/DC, Apocalyptica, 80's/90's pop, musicals like The Sound of Music and South Pacific, Katy Perry, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Reba, and George Strait and George Winston to name just a few. |
| Favorite Books | I'm not sure I could list a favorite. I have so many and I reread lots of them. I enjoy everything from children's books (Ain't Gonna Paint No More and Napping House) to historical romance (Lynn Kurland and Julie Garwood) to Robert B. Parker and Janet Evanovich. |
