| Introduction | I am a parent with children, born in 2007 and 2011. I am hoping to share my adventures with other parents in order for others to learn from my mistakes. I am a fully credentialed elementary teacher that works full time from home. I work for the California Virtual Academy (CAVA) with parents who "home school" their children. I am also some-what of an over-achiever. BA in psychology, teaching credential, Master's Degree in Education, administration credential, and I am currently working on becoming a Reading Specialist teacher and am doing coursework in Advanced On-Line Teaching. One point in my career I was the youngest teacher to move into a Principal-ship position, in my school district. I have also been awarded several teaching awards. I took on the task of "mom" in 2007, and a baby boy is expected in late April, 2011. I plan on learning how to be great parent! Join me as I learn how! : ) |
