About Me

I majored in English, and am a quiet but not overly quiet Midwesterner. I recently ran a half-marathon, and am about to start training for the full. I will not be on the blog that much in the coming months, although Obama's rise to fame and power will continue to scare the crap out of me. Poor Fredo will be the only one who gets to listen to my (endless) rants, which are still not nearly as long as Obama's speeches.

Favorite Books

• The Road; Vonnegut; 1984; Brave New World; I like mysteries and historical fiction but utopias gone horribly awry fascinate me. This also explains my interest in politics.
