About Me

About me? Well, I run a youth development program at a high school in San Francisco. I teach conflict mediation, supervise afterschool tutoring, do media education, and help manage the youth services at the school. I love my students and feel really lucky to get to spend time with them and challenge them. I like to get out (usually on foot or on my bike) to enjoy my neighborhood. I like going out to eat, going to shows, readings, movies, political rallies, and the occasional oddball event. I have a good set of friends with whom I like to spend time. I'm all into food, especially seasonal and organic veggies, and love to cook. I mostly eat vegan. Cole is my adorable and smart 5-year-old son, who I take care of part time.
