Introduction | This blog is my thoughts on the life I've been given. I'm an active Occupier who believes that God's world is being built on the streets. |
Interests | I am interested in learning more about people. I am interested in connecting with people. I am interested in forming true relationships. I am interested in discovering truth as I live. I am interested in life. |
Favorite Movies | The Princess Bride, Baz Luhrman films - both the red curtain trilogy and his newest film, Australia. I also really liked Entre les murs. |
Favorite Books | Narnia books. Anything by C.S. Lewis. Blindness by Jose Saramago. Anything by him, really. The sequel to Blindess, Seeing, is also very good. I am a political junkie so I enjoy books about political intrigue and one sidedness. Like Michael Moore or Anne Coulter. |
That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
Yes. I am standing on a fish. A fish is the symbol for faith in Christ. I am standing on that fish. There is no other support beneath me except for my faith that God in Jesus Christ is good news to the poor, the oppressed, the hungry, the ones that think there is no hope. The hope in Jesus is what I am standing on. So, yes, I am standing on a fish.
