| Introduction | I've been married 32 years. I've applied for Belgian citizenship. I used to drive my daughter to and from school, but now she takes the train. I work, but don't get paid. I cook and clean, and I walk to the market for groceries. I read with a cat on my lap, sometimes 2. I listen to my younger daughter tell me how much she likes to sing and how much she hates math. I do the laundry and iron the shirts. I miss my older daughter when she's gone, and look forward to her visits. The best part is that I get to do this while living in Europe! |
