| Introduction | In November 2012, I went to a Come n Try session for track cycling at the Superdrome in Adelaide, South Australia. Just over eight months later, I have arrived in Wichita Falls, Texas as the latest member of the Midwestern State University Cycling Team. It’s been a whirlwind journey so far and in this blog, I wish to share with you the next chapter as I take on the world of collegiate cycling. Having lived overseas on two previous occasions, I know that there will be plenty of funny moments, dumb moments, scary moments, sad moments and moments of pure joy. On that note, I hope you enjoy reading about all the ups and downs of my year in Texas! |
