Back in the Good Old Days, the government didn't go around meddling in people's personal affairs, like fire protection. People had personal responsibility and they put out their own fires, thank you very much. Then those bumbling government bureaucrats started worming their way in, and now our entire country is infested with government-run socialized fire departments. Collectivism is sapping the work ethic and strangling our economy. Let's get rid of this nefarious Socialized Fire Protection. The private sector will ALWAYS do a better job than a bunch of faceless government bureaucrats. Let's just say No to Socialism and privatize all fire departments NOW.
