I, like my "blog-mate" (Is that a word?) love movies (which is why were all here I'm guessing) Mark and I discovered we had similar tastes when we met in college I entered the dorm room and Mark and his crew of mutual friends were watching ALIENS. Bags of chips and empty bottles of everything lay around the take out cartons on the coffee table, they looked me up and down and then the showdown started as Mark threw out the first movie quote. Our collective friends laughed in approval and I reponded in kind with a quote of my own. Mark dug a little deeper and threw a line from the film at me that was more obscure and I came back with the correct response, complete with inflections...It was then Mark gave me a nod, his eyes narrowing, I nodded back as I knew I had been accepted into the circle. Like two warriors we then had a bond. Our allies Bruce Campbell, Patrick MacGoohan, and Peter Jackson. Our code- BYOB...and a Pizza.
