About Me

Well my name is Spencer and I am libertarian-minded conservative, if that makes sense. I used to be an active member of the College Republicans on the Washington State University campus but have been questioning whether the rhetoric of divisiveness within the club is at all beneficial to me or to society in the long run. I don't need to have my opinions heard by everyone on a college campus. I'm perfectly fine with the fact that I may have some different opinions than some of my friends, which is the great thing about America. I don't need to convert people to become Republicans. We all have different experiences which shape our opinions of this country and what should or should not be done. Who am I to judge whether someone has the correct idea or not? I'm really just someone who wants to make a difference in this world. I'd like to think that I'm charismatic, funny, and above all intelligent. I do my research on the topics and issues and am a well-informed citizen and student. What I dislike most about my generation is the apathy that many students have toward knowing what's going on in the world. In order to form opinons one has to pay attention to all forms of media.
