| Introduction | I’m a retail geek who is also a "voracious lexivore" If I had to state my job occupation on my passport it would read shop girl – I’m in my element like Santa in his grotto on the shop floor selling – but at 50yrs old after a varied career in retail I now blog about retail and mainly product. In my eyes I see the 40+ and beyond market underserved and ignored by retailers so for the last three years I have been blogging to this market ……. The blog has few rules in as much as we don’t tell people what they can’t wear or do as style has no age limit in my eyes – I just like writing about product and what is out in the shops from the latest high heels to velvet cushions. Forty plus and beyond women can’t be pigeon holed which is part of the problem why retailers don’t respond to them ……….but they do make up a large proportion of the population and have a huge spending power so in this day and age silly to ignore ……… |
