| Introduction | I am a Waukesha native. My husband and I moved to Spain when my son was 6 mo. Insanity to our families, we left to work with drug addicts in a radical, non-trad. Christian rehab center. 8 mo. later we moved to Moscow. During the days my husband worked on building a rehab center, business to fund it and meeting place to hold bible studies. I taught English in the schools and fed around 30 people in our apt. every day. We returned when I was 8 ½ months preg. with our 2nd son and have remained in Waukesha since. I’ve roughly spent the last 17 years working in social services (ss). We experienced ss racially overseas and have been disheartened to find our US systems allow a lack of accountability, ambition, & morality. This past summer I closed my retail space downtown and work with clients, free of charge, on an apt. basis. I just took a job, not in social services, downtown. One of my passions is reading. You can also find me cross-country skiing, boating, hiking, and gardening. I like to think I’m a good cook but I don’t care if you disagree. I’m too picky to care. I love to write. I think outside the box most, which doesn’t win popularity contests. We have 3 dogs. |
