| Introduction | I am a 52 year old Catholic convert from Judaism. A conservative, pro life medical doctor. My wife and I have been married for 24 years. We are the parents of two wonderful young adults. Our daughter, age 18, is a freshman at the Catholic University of America in DC. Our son, age 17, is a student at the Pseudo-Catholic Jesuit High School in Portland. I am currently the president of Oregon Right to Life. I have taken many hits, personally and professionally, for my pro-life stand. I will endure. I am deeply concerned about the erosion of the foundation upon which this great country was built. Alerted to the actions of those who would destroy it from without and from within I intend to fight them with every moral and legal means available. I hope you will join me. I count among my friends those from many different religions and those from none. There will be Catholic references here because that is who I am. Be assured, however, that all people of good will are welcome here. If you disagree with me (as so many of my friends do), let's discuss it and be civil toward each other. We can still be friends, even if you are wrong. |
