About Me

I'm a home cook, an amateur singer, dancer and actor, an equestrian, and a huge goofball. (I have a day job too, but that's boring.)

I love to cook, although I'm a bit of a bumbler in the kitchen. What I really enjoy is experimenting in the kitchen and putting my own twist on other people's recipes. I also enjoy cobbling together multipe recipes into my own creations.

I love entertaining and cooking for people and often say that I live to give dinner parties.

I admit to being a picky eater. I don't like olives, seafood, blue cheeses, and a few other things. I'm a failure as a "foodie" but I still am a lover of all kinds of food. I love all food ethnicities (if not all foods) and I enjoy everything from local greasy spoons to 5-star restaurants.

I'm married to a guy who is an even pickier eater than I am. Unfortunately, he's picky about different things. One of my biggest kitchen challenges is cooking around our respective tastes and intolerances and making things we both love.

Cooking is a fantastic creative process, so is writing. I do both with incredible relish.
