About Me
I am an entrepreneur and Assistant Director of Industry Partnerships at the Institute of Technology, University of Washington, Tacoma, where I also lecture. I have a wide range of media communications, business and industry experience. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Washington Software Alliance and the Tacoma Musical Playhouse, am on the advisory boards for two Tacoma technology start-ups and serve on Congressman Adam Smith’s Tech Advisory Board. I have served on the Washington State Governors Technology Advisory Council, and have spoken nationally and internationally on the evolution of the Web. I recently presented at the KeyCorp, Key for Women conference on “Living and Working in a Virtual World” and at Tacoma’s City Club on “Manipulation of the Information Grid”. I have served five times as Chair or Co-Chair of the South Sound Technology Conference.
