| Introduction | I feel very privileged to be able to teach art on a daily basis. I am currently a K-6th grade Art Instructor with my BA in Arts Education and Museum Studies from Cal State Monterey Bay. I'm currently attending Saint Mary's college to obtain my single subject teaching credential in Art. I have a strong passion for the arts and a love for children. I try to instill into all of my students that “everyone is an artist”. Together we work to perfect our craft through creating art. My students learn how to use various types of mediums including: chalk and oil pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints, clay and more. Along with teaching my students many different techniques I also like to incorporate art history as well. I feel it is important for my young artists to learn about the master artists such as Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso. |
