Introduction	In teach medieval history for a living. I paint, badly, to keep my self from screaming. I write to try to figure out why I feel like screaming. I cook, because I really, really like good food. I am 39, from Morecambe, Lancashire in the UK. I have lived in the US since 1997 and in Queens for the past two years. I married my wondrous hubby, Sean, in June 2008. I want a cat, but he is allergic.
Interests	Anglo-Saxon history and Culture, medieval literature and art, cooking, writing, painting, hiking, exploring.
Favorite Movies	Die Hard, Star Trek (all of them), Hell Boy 2, X-Men. (Promise I am actually a 39 year old woman not a 15-year-old dude).
Favorite Music	Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Nina Simone, Cat Power, Steve Earle
Favorite Books	Asimov and Lovecraft, I am re-reading at the moment.
