About Me

I like to hike, read, crochet, teach, and do digital scrapbooking. I taught special education in the public school for 30 years. Now I teach graduate courses as an adjunct instructor for Furman University. I was chosen 2006 Teacher of the Year for my school and a district Top 10 Finalist (out of 5000 teachers). I am Nationally Board Certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist. I am on the National Board of Directors for the Council for Exceptional Children.
