| Introduction | Originally from New Orleans, I now live an hour away in Pass Christian, Mississippi. I am currently working as an elementary school librarian. I have a son, a goofy pound pup that claims to be something of a Golden Retriever, and a husband, too. I want a cat but my husband is a poo. I stop whatever I'm doing to watch Kevin Smith and John Hughes movies as well as any movie adapted from any Jane Austen book. I hate crowds but love gatherings (had to . . . thanks Kevin). Beer more than wine, but wine will do (if I have aspirin). Love to travel but never get the chance (or the money to). I'm girly (sort of), silly, sarcastic, pedantic, polite, generous, modest and SO Virgo. And sometimes I'm not those things. But infrequently often. And I will not be nice until I live in a castle. Or at least get new flooring. And some sconces. And maybe a pool. Don't talk to me about religion or politics. I'm excrutiatingly impatient. I have a morbid phobia of mirrors. Catoptrophobia sucks. I stay up too late and smoke too many cigarettes and you should too. |
