| Introduction | I am a self proclaimed paper hoarder. So, now I've got a way to share my love of paper with the world...in a 'little' marketplace called Etsy. I've said many times that I'd be happy in a paper house. I love to cut and fold, bend and twist and create lovely things to adorn the simple things in life. I love the little simple details that make gatherings feel special. My long-time friends know me to always have a gathering around food. When I learned that I had Celiac disease, that changed a lot of things that I did. But as I soon found, I was determined to still share food and celebrate in the ways I always had. Multiply that desire by three when all of my children where diagnosed the next year. I love the Lord. He has kept me safe thru hard times and blessed me in the good times. I've survived losing my spleen at 9, an embolism in my late 30s and a divorce. I couldn't do what I do without his guidance and protection. I tend toward perfectionism, but as I age I devote time to achieving it more wisely, and in different areas. I heard the most lovely statement the other day, and I think I move forward into my next chapter with these words... Strive for grace, not perfection. |
