| Introduction | I have a wonderful husband, Randy who I have been married to for 16 years. We got the diagnosis of my breast cancer on our 16th wedding anniversary, June 30th. Randy has been awesome and will be my biggest cheerleader. He will also let me whine for awhile, but enough is enough!I have a son Ben who is married to Emmie. Ben is starting his 4th year of medical school and has been a wonderful source of strength and information. Bryant is my step-son and has a lovely wife, Kristina. Beth is my wonderful daughter who has been my rock over the past 2 weeks. She has been to every appointment that Randy could not attend and has helped at home. Brylee is our 6 year old. Her hugs and kisses and "I love you Mommy" will cure anything. This is my immediate family, but let me tell you, I have parents, sisters and their families and my brother and his family that have all ready been there for me and I will guarentee will be there with us every step of the way. Friends, the good thing about them, is you get to pick them, and I have picked a wonderful group of friends. The cards, thoughts prayers and offers of help have been overwhelming. And for that we thank you. |
