| Introduction | I have been teaching PreK for more than 25 years in the Orange County Public School system in Orlando, Florida. I teach in an inner city school in one of the poorest areas of our city. I love teaching in an inner city school and I love PreK! Teaching young children is my passion and I continue to grow daily as I seek out new and innovative ideas to use with my special little friends. I have two daughters who teach and my husband is a retired middle school principal. My father was a teacher and my sister teaches as well. Our family get togethers always seem to focus on school topics, I wonder why? I have six wonderful grandchildren and they all live close. It's the greatest joy ever to have them nearby.
