Favorite Movies

• Kelly's Heroes - Donald Sutherland's Oddball is a classic. Touch of Evil from Orson Welles. The Innocents based on Henry James - it still chills me. Picnic At Hanging Rock - this was my mum's favourite movie; maybe the greatest Aussie film.

Favorite Music

• Varied - favourite of all time probably "Head Over Heels" by The Cocteau Twins. Weather Report's "Black Market". Spirit "The Family That Plays Together". "Flamenco Chill Dos" - superb collection of Spanish chill/dance.

Favorite Books

• Anything by Ian McEwan Jonathan Meades or William Trevor. Meades' "Filthy English" is a peerless collection of short stories. Trevor's "The Story of Lucy Gault" is the saddest thing you will ever read. McEwan has become too clever perhaps but the early work is remarkable.
