| Interests | About the title of this site: I'm writing a memoir of my life with Asperger's, and 3 major events had to do with swingsets, gray hair, and the tomato bin at Shop-Rite. This website is for the stories that don't fit in the book but are still worth telling either because they show what Asperger's symptoms can look and feel like, or because they're good for a laugh. I love those absurd moments, like a bizarre conversation with a clerk at the local video store ("Pig Male Yen?!" he asked), or the time I mistook a cow for my son. These things happen to everyone, right? Right? |
