- and French auricular acupuncture. Dr. Sarnacki incorporates these various modalities of acupuncture with Western medicine and Western living to administer what is now called American Acupuncture. Carl J. Sarnacki M.D is the past president of the Acupuncture Society of Michigan and the current director of the Acupuncture Institute of Michigan since 1982. He is also a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the International College of Electrotherapeutics. He is also a past member of the Academy of Medical Directors. He received national and state honors and served as the president of the National Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Sarnacki also gives lectures and radio health commentaries on the benefits of American Acupuncture. Dr. Sarnacki graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State College of Medicine. He is happily married to his wife of over forty years. They have six children and seventeen grandchildren. He currently practices American Acupuncture in the following Michigan cities; Warren
