About Me

My name is Manda and I'm the designer behind Silver Storm. I'm based in Dorset which is for me one of the most beautiful of the English counties and I'm one of those lucky folks who has the perfect job, manager of a bead shop in the historic market town of Shaftesbury, home of Gold Hill where the Hovis advert was filmed. I grew up surrounded by art and craft, as a child I would spend hours rummaging through my Grandmother's bead and button box stringing simple necklaces and bracelets, later making earrings to sell at school and eventually in 2000 I dusted off my pliers and here I am having the time of my life!
