Introduction	My name is Jessica Wakefield, and I write sweet, contemporary romance based in rural Australia. I live in the city now, but I grew up in the country, and there’s something about the country that has followed me my whole life. I left my small town, got an education, taught school, and found a wonderful husband. Now I’m a mum, and I’m scraping out a few hours a day to write and when I do, I’m transported to country towns like the one I grew up in.
Interests	I love reading, writing, cooking and running. I'm a stay at home mum and I am trying to write my first novel.
Favorite Movies	Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995), Persuasion, The Mummy, The Parent Trap, Wives and Daughters
Favorite Music	Tim McGraw, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, Keith Urban...it's basically mostly country!
