| Introduction | I am a single mother who has gone back to school and I am currently studying towards my Bachelor of Fine Arts. The idea for this project started in my second year as my approach to a brief we were given. The result was a number of badges, typed to look like 'Want' ads from the newspaper, the text being the wants I had collected from people of all ages locally. To my surprise people were fascinated by them, trawlling through them all, laughing, relating to and generally completely taken by other peoples desires. Most of them even sold, although I hadn't even thought of offering them for sale! The response elicited by these innocuous little hand made badges has inspired me to push this idea further..... so here I am. I have no idea where this journey will take me, or even if it will be successfull. The possibilities in terms of artworks generated from this are limitless.
