Introduction | I live in Kalamazoo, MI with my beautiful wife, Mandy, and our amazing son, Auden. I'm a Doctoral Associate at Western Michigan University where I teach Advanced Poetry Writing. I have a BA in English from Northern Illinois University and an MFA in Poetry from Bowling Green State University. I am the author of the forthcoming collection, American Amen (Dream Horse Press, 2010), winner of the 2009 Orphic Prize, and two chapbooks, They Speak of Fruit (Copper Dillon Books, 2009) and The Blueprint (Pudding House, 2005). I'm also the co-editor of The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Prose Poetry: Contemporary Poets in Discussion and Practice (Rose Metal Press, 2010). |
