About Me
BodyVox is a modern dance company that was founded by artistic directors Ashley Roland and Jamey Hampton. February 2008 will mark our 10th aniversary! The company can be found in the hide-a-way location above Bridgeport Brewery. We specialize in modern dance that challenges the traditional with a look on life that is often light hearted, comical and extreme. Beside dance, the main stage performance often includes a variety of mediums such as film, live music, props, and aerial movement. I am the Outreach Director here and therefore get the amazing chance to work with kids all over Portland and share my love of performance and teaching!
