About Me

I currently am working at a Fashion Doll designer, and specialize in culturally inspired fashion design. I won the "What Will Barbie Wear in 2005?" Design Competition sponsored by Mattel Canada and Ryerson University. My design "Inuit Legend Barbie" was produced by Mattel in 2005 and was available exclusively in Canada. Since then, I have participated in many competitions, all off which I was lucky enough to be a finalist in. My current plans for the next few months are designing the fall line for a new and fantastic doll company who produced a doll that will be launched this July. Also, I am planning a trip to Calgary where I will be teaching a workshop and a guest speaker at a Barbie convention entitled "Glamorous".
