| Introduction | I have been sewing for the majority of my life since I grew up in a family that had a small business selling sewing machines. Going to shows with my dad as a kid, I would sew straight lines on different fabrics, even yard sticks! Learning to read patterns, I made some of my own clothing. Early in my military career I apprenticed with a local seamstress to learn alterations. I enjoy quilting, but I found my niche in creating handbags; which led to creating my own patterns. To share my passion for sewing, I teach quilting and handbag classes for a local shop. |
