| Introduction | Hello and welcome to Old School Days - my blog charting the trials and tribulations of renovating an old school in North Yorkshire. I live here with my husband, David, and two young sons, Joseph and William - and Daisy the cat. I'm a former newspaper journalist now working from home on a freelance basis. I enjoy reading, films, baking, sewing, gardening, crafts and bric-a-brac finds. It has taken us four years to get work started on this project so this is the exciting bit.
