| Introduction | I have started this blog to document our adoption journey. We began making serious inquiries to agencies this month (June 2013). It will be a long hurry-up-and-wait process and I plan to update each step of the way so our children and future children can have a record to look back on when they are older. I titled it Take My Hand for two reasons. The first one is obvious. We are so looking forward to the moment we meet and bring our child/ren home... when we can say take my hand (literally and figuratively) as we begin a new chapter in life together. The other reason I chose it was because we have been talking about and researching adoption for a couple of years now but just yesterday (June 15th) we received such a clear, straightforward sign from the Lord out of the blue. I will share it soon on the blog but it was just as if the Lord was saying, "This is what I want you to do. Here, take My hand and I will lead you." No, I didn't hear an audible voice. :) But it was very clear that we are on the right path! |
