| Introduction | One of the most difficult challenges is to write about 'me'. I suppose you could say that I'm a frustrated writer which explains my 'need' to blog. My house is filled with Greek Iconography (and 4 cats) and I'm half way through an MDiv (although truth be told I will likely ALWAYS be 'half' finished!). I love all things Celtic and treasure the memory of my Anam Cara. I love to read and have a bit of a compulsion to OWN my books. Running out of room ... my three bedroom house has been transformed into one bedroom and two libraries! Oh yeah, and I LOVE to laugh. |
| Interests | Iconography (time to get some news ones - got white space that is begging to be filled); Celtic spirituality; my children and grandchildren; music; reading and favorite thin place ... my deck! |
| Favorite Movies | I'm not much of a movie fan but would have to say that anything Monty Python or Christopher Guest would be at the top of my list. |
| Favorite Music | Newest artists (well, new to me!) I've found are Mariza; Lenka and Nina Simone. I also love Kevin Fox's 'Songs for Cello & Voice' as well as Oliver Schroer. Currently my favorite single is 'Get Home' by Sarah Slean ... just listen to those lyrics. |
| Favorite Books | I have wall to wall books in one room and they have expanded to another room. Favorites .... for someone who loves to read naming a favorite is a challenge although I just finished reading The Law of Dreams by Peter Behrens and it is at the top of my list! Bel Canto by Ann Patchett and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Toulane by Kate DiCamillo are amoung my favorites as well. |
