I'm a homeschooling confessional Lutheran mom of three, a decent pianist, a one-time English major, and a full-fledged dark chocolate and coffee addict (Caribou, not Starbuck's). I still love and miss my home state of Texas, but I think I was meant to live up North. I have been married for over 20 years to my first and only boyfriend. My favorite time of day is morning because it means I get another chance. My favorite season is fall, but I think there is nothing like Chicago in the springtime.
