| Introduction | Houston's only WFTDA roller derby league. Games are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Bayou Place Live (formerly known as Verizon Wireless Theater), 520 Texas Avenue in Downtown Houston. Tickets are cheap ($15 General Admission, $25 VIP). Houston Roller Derby Teams: Bayou City Bosses, The Brawlers, Psych Ward Sirens, The Valkyries, The Houston All-Stars (all-star travel team), the Knockouts (B-team), and the Machete Betties (Recreational League). Houston Roller Derby is run by the skaters for the skaters- nobody gets paid to play- we only do it for the love of the sport. We've been doing derby since 2005 and there is no end in sight!
