About Me

Nearly 30 years of experience as leader for nonprofits. I managed projects for two Compassion Capital Fund supported intermediary organizations that contributed to the development and growth of organizations in Los Angeles and Pomona, south Florida, Chicago, and Indianapolis. I consult organizations to adopt and install a complete board governance system that links an organization to its moral ownership, holds the organization accountable to accomplish what it should and to avoid unacceptable situations. I am a member of the International Policy Governance® Association. For 15 years I was executive director of an organization providing microenterprise training and traditional employment programs in Los Angeles. Partnerships were built with large and small financial institutions providing linkages to emerging markets, financial literacy training, individual development savings accounts, banking industry job internships for youth, and improved banking services. I have also presented board governance to members of the Association of Enterprise Opportunity, Christian Community Development Association and the Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership.
