Introduction The hermits on the hill consist of my husband and I and the critters that share our humble abode, MercyBlu, the shepherd mix we adopted last year and upon doing a DNA test turns out to be Husky and Blue tick coonhound, and our cats: a calico tabby named Gretel &; Phineas, the black smoke long hair with orange eyes. Then last summer when the neighbor was going to kill some abandoned kittens we took them in as well...siblings; Magnum a black shorthair & Hazel a fluffy long hair gray dilute calico or the bowling ball with fur, as she's affectionately called.. Technically we are retired after the 25+ years of my hubby being in the Air Force and me of course being an Air Force wife....however things are always busy and we are never bored. Him working another job and me looking after an elderly parent.
