| Introduction | I am lucky enough to have an old farmhouse in the Pieksamaki region of Finland. We are working to restore it during annual vists of one month. The farmland that surrounds us is mainly forest used for logging for paper/furniture. The owner is increasingly trying to cut large areas around us down. We want to save it and if we receive enough donations to buy the land, we will rename it 'People's Forest' and allow hiking, camping and roaming on the land which will have it's nature and natural beauty untouched.
